Information Architect / Website Administrator / Internet Marketing Consultant
Although I have done all of my IT related work through only two companies, I have had extensive experience working with all aspects of project management and website design for a multitude of clients. I have been and am a business owner and can lead a project from hiring to making sure the bottom line stays in the black. While my training was in occupational therapy, I have unique skills given to me by that training which allows me to plan pages using my psychology and work task analysis training. By planning websites based on the psychological profile of the expected visitor and minimizing clicks and maximizing exposure to marketing materials and monetization call to actions, I can provide a better design them those not trained in these areas. My graphical and technical skills might be less than many others in my field but I more than make up for these weaknesses with my user experience expertise.
http://iloho.com –Although still a work in process since the IT team has not completed all the changes the site has improved significantly in visits and sign ups. I redesigned almost completely and also implemented a full marketing program as well as started development of a mobile app fully designed by me and suggested a Facebook game to help bring in more users. I have stock options in this company.
http://reallatinpages.com –This is a highly successful websites making tens of thousands of dollars per month. What is most impressive about this site is its backend administrator which allows very few people to manage thousands of clients. We are part owners of this property.
http://jewelrysprite.com –I grew this business from scratch and designed a website with the power and ability of Wal-Mart’s merchant backend which allowed my supplier to maintain my inventory, add/edit products, etc. and allowed me to run this website with just one simple employee. This site has since been sold.
http://jcpaparazzi.com –This website is for a local Miami photographer and it received about one million page impressions per month. We re-engineered the site and while not perfect, it more than cuadrupelled the site visits and advertising revenue.
http://nicapaparazzi.com –This is another one of our properties. It is a very successful site in Nicaragua and has spawned a television show of its own which features the top entertainers and personalities in Nicaragua. The site supports the show and allows Nicaraguans from all over the world to keep up with events in their country.
